Plain-language summary of what socratink collects, how it’s used, and your rights. Last updated April 2026.

What we collect

• Waitlist email — when you submit your email, we store it to send early-access invites and product updates. Submissions are processed via Web3Forms.
• Material you submit to the demo — text you paste into the landing-page demo is sent to Google’s Gemini API for extraction and evaluation. We do not persist demo text on our servers.
• Application account data — if you create an account at app.socratink.ai, we store your account profile and the study content you choose to upload. The map state and drill history are bound to your account.
• Basic site analytics — aggregate page-view data via our hosting provider (Vercel). No third-party behavioral ad tracking.

How we use it

• To operate socratink — extract structure from your material, evaluate reconstructions, update your map.
• To send waitlist and product updates you opted into.
• To improve the product. We may review anonymized prompts or error cases to fix bugs and tune models. We do not sell or share your content.

Model provider

socratink uses Google’s Gemini API for LLM operations. Your prompts are processed under Google’s API terms. Google states that content submitted via the Gemini API is not used to train their public models unless explicitly opted in. See ai.google.dev/gemini-api/terms.

Your data, your choice

• You can request deletion of your waitlist email, account, or any stored content at any time.
• You can export the content you uploaded in a structured format on request.
• Message us on Discord to exercise any of these and we will follow up directly.

Cookies

We use a small number of first-party cookies and localStorage entries for session state and theme preference. No third-party advertising cookies.

Children

socratink is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

This policy will change as the product evolves. Material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date. For anything ambiguous, ask on Discord.
